Join us for a complimentary first week to get a feel for what class is like! Select a class date that interests in you, and "enroll" in that class by filling out the registration form.
We suggest wearing your favorite athletic shoes, a towel or mat for our ground exercises and plenty of water. Please bring a hat and sunblock for our beautiful sunny days. Any stroller that you like will work as long as it isn't prone to tipping and your baby can be safely buckled in. A jogging stroller is not necessary!
Our first priority is the happiness of your baby. We will do our best to help, however we understand when you need to take over. We stop every few minutes for strength and toning so it is easy for everyone to catch up at the next station if you get a little behind. Our instructors will do their very best to make the class enjoyable for both you and baby!
We recommend waiting until your baby is at least 6 weeks of age to begin class. Kiddos can take classes up to any age so long as they still enjoy a ride in the stroller and be safely buckled in. Always get your doctor's approval before starting this or any other kind of exercise program.
The workouts are 60 minutes unless otherwise noted. The class is set up in the following way:
5-6 minute warm-up
45-minute power walk/ jog with the stroller that includes body toning stations
5 minute abs; 5 minute stretch
FIT4MOM is a pre and post natal exercise program, meaning our stroller based programs (Stroller Strides and StrollerBarre) can be done while pregnant. For our first time moms, you do not need to have a stroller to do the workout. There will always be room for you mat, water bottle and any other items to place in another stroller. If you find yourself with kids in school and want to participate, we can hold your mat and water too!!
